Our Mission

Dr. Aquilla Battle is the creator and owner of Code Red Nurse, a Non Profit Organization dedicated to helping increase diversity in Nursing.   Dr. Battle DEFIED THE ODDS stacked against her after dropping out of High School and obtaining her GED, by completing Graduate school with a Terminal Degree in Nursing, the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Degree.   Dr. Battle has made a personal commitment to supporting the growth and development of Nursing Students all over the world to reach their full potential, graduate and serve the community.   Dr. Battle uses her personal, academic and professional experiences to guide nursing students towards completion of their goals with an EMPHASIS on CRUSHING BARRIERS and SOCIAL DETERMINANTS that threaten  successful completion of a nursing program.   

Code Red Nurse aims to make sure nursing students feel supported through mentorship, introduction to nursing courses and nursing scholarships that will promote and encourage students to Nursing Certificate or Degree completion.
